Advanced Design & Engineering for STP, WTP & ETP

At CEEPL, we specialize in end-to-end design and engineering services for water & wastewater infrastructure — including Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). Our designs integrate client needs, site constraints, sustainability, and operations efficiency so that both capital and operating costs are optimized.

What We Deliver

Our scope of design & engineering covers everything from conceptualization to ready-for-construction documentation. Some of the key deliverables include:

Process Design & Calculations

Detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs), selection of treatment technologies, process sizing, flow balancing, treatment efficiency targets.

Hydraulic Design & Profiles

Hydraulic flow diagrams, hydraulic profile calculations, pump sizing, intake/outfall design, pipe network hydraulics.

Plant Layout & General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)

Layouts combining the civil footprint, mechanical structures, piping, access roads, utilities.

Structural & Civil Engineering

Detailed structural drawings, foundations, tanks, platforms, structural integrity under load and seismic conditions.

Electro-Mechanical Design

Piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), valve & piping schedules, mechanical equipment selection, schedules & specifications.

Electrical Engineering

Load analyses, transformer & capacitor sizing, switchgear & single line diagrams, cable schedules and routing, lightning protection, earthing.

Instrumentation, Controls & Automation

Design of instrumentation layout, PLC/SCADA control philosophy, sensor specification, control panels.

As-Built & Isometrics

After construction: updated drawings, plant piping isometrics, record of any changes made.

Our Approach

Project Showcase

Here are some of our standout STP / WTP / ETP design & engineering projects, illustrating the breadth and depth of our expertise:

142 MLD Water Treatment Plant, Bilaspur→Ajmer

A large-scale WTP project involving not only the core treatment works but also a substantial 150 km raising main. The design addressed intake works, hydraulics, treatment process, civil structures, and distribution for long-distance conveyance.

225 MLD + 100 MLD Sewage Treatment Plants, Gurugram (GMDA)

Two major STP modules designed together, employing SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) + TTU technologies. Layouts optimized for modular scalability; emphasis on energy efficiency, sludge handling, and ease of operations.

100 MLD Water Treatment Plants, GMDA Gurugram

Urban water supply projects where design engineering covered raw water intake, filtration systems, treatment, plumbing & pipelines, pumping infrastructures, with future expansion in mind.

40 MLD STP, Rohtak

Municipal sewage treatment plant designed under ASP / aerated sludge process, incorporating civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation design for effective treatment with lower operational costs.

30 MLD CETP – Bawal & 21 MLD CETP – Panipat

Effluent treatment plants for industrial clusters. Designs included treatment module selection, sludge management, compliance with industrial effluent norms, and in some cases provisions or options for Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).

10 MLD CETP with 10-year O&M, Odisha

A turnkey environmental infrastructure project where CEEPL delivered not just design and engineering, but also detailed planning for long-term operation & maintenance, ensuring sustainability, regulatory compliance and continuous performance.
